Albuquerque’s sun loves to shine bright. That's nice for a picnic but can be tough on our cars. Over time, the sun can make our cars look old and tired. But guess what? There's a superhero move to keep our cars shiny – it's called ceramic coating.

Ceramic Coating vs. Wax:

Wax is like that light jacket we wear – it helps for a bit but doesn't last long.  Waxes are made out of an organic material called Carnauba.  This Carnauba degrades fast in our sunny city. Ceramic coating, on the other hand, is like wearing a super suit. It protects our cars from the sun, rain, and even bird stuff!  Ceramic coatings actually bond to your car instead of just lay on top of the surface.  They repel water and stop UV rays from damaging your paint as well!

Quick Tip: 

Apart from ceramic coatings, another simple trick is parking in the shade or using a car cover. This helps in guarding our car from the sun's strong rays.  This will also help stop water from drying too fast and leaving your car with stains from hard water.

Remember, cars have feelings too (well, kinda). They love it when we care for them and keep them shiny and so do we!
